We believed we could print a book and we followed the steps to make it happen.
Editorial Projects? Yes!
When people ask me why we started printing books, I always laugh and say ¨it all began as a really fun game¨. Two friends who believed they could print a book and followed the steps to make it happen.
In Mora-Mora we follow a process of assisting people to reach their personal and professional goals. In this case, we began looking at the short stories that she had wrote and working on the essence and idea for the book. We wanted it to be filled with details so we cared for that to happen. Many wonderful people joined the team and we built the book page by page until we were able to send it to the editorial that printed it. And then we waited impatiently to hold it in our own hands.
When the project was almost finished, I decided I wanted to start my own editorial sign, and work with the Mora-Mora process from beginning to end and even further. I wanted to assist other authors with dreams, written words that get to us in a deep way and that deserve to come to light.
I have built a complementary and invested team of people, and we want to offer this method to those seeking for a different editorial firm that can assist them on a professional and personal basis. Above all, I really want to offer a post-print service with Public Image plans that compliment the thorough work we do with essence of the books we publish.
In Mora-Mora, we publish those books that really [get to] us. Those books that talk straight into our souls and change our perspectives.
We base our work in win-win relationships, and create specific budgets for each book, author, target, essence…
Now I would like to share the words that Marta Gómez de la Vega, psychotherapist and author of the book Pinceladas de Sentimientos – Relatos de Duelo, wrote on my copy of the first book we ever worked with, the project with which it all began.
Anyways, thank you for reading.
My dear Coquis:
Here you have our ¨brushstrokes of emotions¨ because our emotions joined together in this beautiful dream.
Than you for building and sharing it with me.
Aquí tienes nuestras “pinceladas de sentimientos” porque los nuestros se unieron en este bello sueño.
Gracias por compartir y construirlo conmigo.
